Walnut Candy Bar Blonde Brownies

Make these Walnut Candy Bar Blonde Brownies STAT!! You don't have much time!

With Super Bowl around the corner, I'm actually making these AGAIN this weekend to take to a Super Bowl party! I think they'll be a hit, they're the perfect kind of sweet treat! We definitely could not stop eating them after I made them the first time around, I actually had to take them to work just so that we wouldn't eat the whole batch.

They're that good!

I actually had made these with the purpose of sharing them with you on #NationalBlondeBrownieDay but that day, came and went and I forgot to share. And I made them with my own twist, which includes leftover Halloween chocolate candy because we had plenty around and I love adding extra chunks of chocolate to my brownies whenever possible.

I love to somehow incorporate my favorite chocolate candy into a recipe especially a brownie one whenever I have plenty of it around. I have always had a soft spot in my tummy for a good brownie, I can't help it. Feel free to incorporate your favorite chocolate candy bars into it, either way, it'll be delicious and to your liking.

These brownies may have to be one of my favorites yet!

In other Blonde brownie recipes that I've came across I noticed that there weren't many with the walnuts but I don't regret adding them. As a topping it adds the perfect crunch not to mention that perfect sweet and salty to the brownie.  I love adding walnuts to my baked recipes whenever I can plus they're good for you!

Directions

  1. Heat your oven at 350.

  2. In a large bowl, cream the butter, sugars and vanilla extract until light and fluffy. Then add your eggs to the mix one at a time.

  3. Add your dry ingredients until fully mixed in and fold in your chocolate candy with spatula.

  4. Pour your mixture into a 9x9 square pan that you've sprayed with nonstick spray top with walnuts.

  5. Bake for 30-40 minutes until your fork or knife comes out clean. Remove the brownies from the oven and set them in a baking rack for 10 minutes. Voila! Your brownies are ready. Cut and serve them right after or store them in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
