Sugar Free Air Fryer Apple Crisp

Sugar Free Air Fryer Apple Crisp

The perfect recipe for the remainder of the season, the fall/winter season. I'll be making this recipe throughout because it's so good. It's warm and sweet. It's the perfect breakfast, snack or sweet mid-day or evening treat.

This little dessert is big on flavor, not big on sugar. It's a great recipe for any season but especially during the fall months when harvests are in abundance.

Ingredients

For the apples:

  • 1 cup of fresh sliced apples (size varies on how you plan to serve or preference)

  • 2 tsp Almond flour, gluten free

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

For the topping:

  • 3 tbsp rolled oats (quick or instant)

  • 1-1/2 tbsp Lakanto Classic Sweetner

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • pinch of Himalayan salt

  • 1-1/2 tbsp butter, softened

Directions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 360

  2. Spray ramekins or jars with baking or cooking spray, coconut oil or butter

  3. Combine fruit, flour, and lemon juice in a small bowl.

  4. Toss to coat, divide the mixture between two 1-cup or four 1/2-cup jars or ramekins. Or just use what you have on hand and distribute evenly.

  5. Combine oats, sweetener, and cinnamon for the topping in a small bow.

  6. Mix in softened butter using a fork until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over the fruit.

  7. Place in the air fryer basket and cook until the fruit is warmed though, the topping is golden brown. 9-12 minutes for smaller jars, 12-14 for ramekins.

This recipe is by far one of my favorites not just because of the fact that it's sugar free and full of flavor but because it's super easy to make. Make sure to visit Lakanto for this recipe and so many more especially if you have a sweet tooth like me :)
